The Surface Treatment in Zirconium Ceramic Previously to Adhesive Cementation


Summary

The metal free prosthesis has a great used in Restorative Dentistry. Different ceramic systems appeared in the last few years with accurate manufacture technology and high aesthetic quality. Zirconia oxide reinforced ceramics have been recommended for the fixed prosthesis and full crown making in anterior and posterior teeth. In order to accomplish an efficient adhesive cementation, the aim this work realized a literature review about the surface treatment methods employed to the reinforced zirconia oxide ceramics before adhesive cementation.
