Crown and ceramic veneer: Esthetic solution for traumatized tooth


Summary

Tooth trauma that causes anterior-superior tooth fracture can compromise the esthetic of the smile. As a method to devolve the tooth form involved, there are direct restoration with composite resin and indirect with ceramic. One factor that determine the professional to choose the ceramic material is the capability of this material to associate esthetic with mechanical resistance. The aim of this paper was described a clinical case of patients that suffer dental trauma and had the esthetic smile compromised. For this case it was planned individually treatment looking for devolve the harmony of the tooth affected. At the end of restorative treatments, was possible to visualize the esthetic of the smile, keeping the tooth function.
